Plan for your upcoming holiday celebrations. I may sound like a broken record, but having a plan for what you eat helps you to make the best choices. When going to parties, it is a great idea to bring something to share that you know you can eat. I also find it helpful to have a small snack beforehand so I’m not starving and tempted to eat something I would otherwise avoid. The holidays tend to encourage indulgence and it is till possible to be mindful of what goes in your mouth. Seek out new indulgent options that feel festive and are in line with your healthy lifestyle. I have found many Paleo cookies online using almond flour with or without coconut flour and honey that can be substituted at your annual cookie swap.
