Dining out can be especially daunting when eating whole foods. It is difficult to control what goes into your meal when it is prepared by others- especially the quality of the ingredients. I chose to meet friends this morning for Sunday Breakfast- it is often the easiest place to start!
I was able to get a beautiful three egg omlet, a side of fruit, and I shared a piece of bacon from my husband’s plate. I asked the server to leave the potatoes and the toast off the plate and to not use butter.
Being able to eat whole, nutritious foods and still maintain my social life is a win win. Seek out places that will accommodate special requests and don’t be afraid to ask for what you want.
