It’s no secret that exercise is important to our health. Challenge yourself today to move your body differently today. Take your regular 30 minute walk and add some fast sprints- even if it is only for 10 feet or pick a hill and walk up it a few times. Add some resistance- load up a backpack with water bottles and carry it around for an hour. As it gets heavy you can dump the water out. Not having a gym membership or the *time* to dedicate for exercise is no longer an excuse. It is important to be creative and to get those short bursts of movement in combined with some type of added resistance. Our ancestors had to be able to sprint away from danger and to carry heavy things over long distances. We can mimic these movements in our modern lives.
