Day Six: Beef, is for breakfast

Time to turn around your thinking on what constitutes breakfast. Yesterday I chose a bunless hamburger with steamed broccoli and half an avocado (all leftover from the previous nights dinner). My mid-morning snack was a leftover veal t bone. Often we (that you would be you, the Average American) think of breakfast as something carby and a snack as something salty or sugary. It doesn’t have to be so. Eating toast and orange juice with your cocoa puffs was a marketing scheme not a valid example of a “balanced” breakfast. It is time to reinvent yourself one food option at a time. Try a ginger stir fry with chicken for breakfast one morning, and I bet you’ll be more satiated and energized than normal.
